Stable Lantern
Stable Lantern looks as if it's hung beside the old stable door for the last 200 or so years. Punched tin has been aged along with the wood.. I added a tin plate to the upper bottom for safety, I still wouldn't leave it burning and unattended. Four available. The lanterns will have to ship by themselves to avoid damage...shipping will run $12.00. Lanterns measure approx 12"-12 1/2" T X 5 - 5 1/2" W.. These measurements EXclude the 3" circular handle...............$125.00 ea . ..(I'll leave the aged candle inside) Depending on how much light you need or want, the longer you leave the wick, the brighter the light. I tried to vary each one to give you an idea.

Traveling Ink Well
Traveling inkwells were especially popular during the civil war. The cork fitted in the well made them easy to travel. Many a soldier would settle in by candlelight in the evening to write home.. This is a wooden, primitive example. The feather is included. Wells are finished in an old attic surface with occasional black ink stains... Measures approx: 3" W X 3 1/4" T.............$49 ea.

We made 3 candeliers for this sale.. This is a style you would have seen in early New England homes.. #'s 1 and 3 are three armed pieces, #2 is four arms. Large 1700's Style Colonial Gentleman Oil painting on canvas
16" X 20" oil on canvas of a colonial gentleman. All edges of the canvas are darkened. Comes unframed. 1700's clothing..........................$195.00
Early Style Silhouette
Early look gentleman silhouette of Abraham Worthington. This is not a cut silhouette but a painting. Housed in a wonderful, small early frame. Original black paint, square nailed throughout...the original backing was held on by tape for many years. When I took the tape off, it left a sticky, white residue .. (pictured). You can remove it with a light sanding or Mineral Spirits applied with a soft rag or just let it be which is what I'd do..measures..... 4" X 4 1/2"

Rocky bluff and Lighthouse watercolor
Housed in an early frame, this is a watercolor of an old Colonial home, moored clipper ship and lighthouse. The rocky bluff drops straight down to the water. The frame is 100% original with square nails throughout. Old wavy glass. Even the hanging wire is left original. The frame is darkened showing many years of wear, scuffs and scarring. Measures: 12 X 14......................$125.00
