Food Domes

Turned, wooden food domes.  An early, primitive look and will keep your dinner warm!  Finished in an old, dry,  darkened finish.  You are buying the dome only, not whatever  plate is underneath. I'm just showing you how it looks.   #1 resembles a cake/pie dome to me, but of course could be used for whatever you want.   I love the look of them on my wooden plates but they look equally good on pewter plates  as well.    They even look good and early on my white stoneware plates..Five available in different sizes and shapes.  I'll add measurements  and prices below each picture..

Witches cape & hat rack

SOLD

It's about time for Fall/Halloween decorations.  We all look forward to and enjoy that.  This is a sweet little grouping.  A coat and hat stand with all witch items.  Looks like she just flew in, took her things off, hung them up and went to bed.  There's a cape, a hat, a broom and orange stockings.. all hanging on a turned, wooden stand..  The brooms are made from pine needles.   I only say this in case you are alergic to pine.  Once  Halloween is over, you can hang your top-hat  or any other hat on it easily. I pictured mine to show you the look... The cross bar even stablizes the larger hat.  They make great candle & herb dryers as well.   Rack alone  measures:    6 1/4 W. X  13 3/4" T.......... 6 available.........$75

Standing Gentleman with top-hat

Dressed in formal  1800's wear, this gentleman is finished in watercolors.  I've been wanting to paint him but hadn't found the right frame.  I went ahead and did the artwork and just like magic found the frame within two weeks that  I had envisioned all along.  It's not an early period piece but an nice old frame that looks for all the world like the original.  It has the original hanger.  I added the wooden backing from wood I had here. I only had to trim 1/16th" from the height of the painting  So I think it was meant to be! measures 6 1/4" wide x 8 1/4 tall.............$125.00
